Join our 3-part series from slavery in kitchens to 2021 pop-ups and urban farmers. 

We’ll talk about geographic origins, agricultural influences, food injustices and culinary achievements with particular focus on the role of Black women in creating and nurturing the legacy which evolved into modern soul cuisine in Philadelphia.

Our final episode:

Mar. 3rd: Philly Soul-Food Future: Sustainability, Health, and Urban Farming

Each 90 minute  session runs from 6pm-7:30pm and includes talks, a cooking demo, and a panel discussion.

Our "future" speakers and chefs include Lauren Swann, Tia McDonald, Samantha Johnson, Laquanda Dobson, Leah Erwin, and Lari Robling.
