Join the San Diego Chapter  $15/$25 As we learn all about The first day of the Iranian calendar (Nowruz/Norouz/Noruz) the first day of spring,  The celebration of Nowruz dates back over 3000 years ago during the Zorastrian rule of the Persian Empire.  Laura will discuss the traditions of Nowruz, including the sofreh haft sin, or the table setting of seven ’S’s. She will share her family’s traditions for this holiday and the foods traditional served for the Nowruz dinner. She will demo and prepare kuku sabzi, a Persian herb frittata.
